The fall semi-annual book sale will be held Friday-Sunday, Oct. 12-14, at the Cobb Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Parkway SE, Marietta. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. RSVP to the Facebook event.
Only cash and checks will be accepted. Until 1 p.m. on Friday, electronic devices are not permitted and patrons can only buy up to two boxes of items at a time. Sunday is BYOB (Bring Your Own Box) Day. You can bring any size box you like and fill it to the top. All profits from this sale go directly to buy more items for the 17 libraries in the Cobb County Public Library System.
